OD Network

Our OD network is open to all staff (clinical and non-clinical) who would like to build their OD capability – in particular, OD and HR managers and leaders in health and care with responsibility for organisation development.

The OD network will focus on building OD knowledge and capability in the North East and North Cumbria health and care system. It has been set up to support leaders and staff to come together to learn, share experiences, and gain support and coaching expertise.

Please see below a recording of our September network session where we were joined by Fiona Chatten, Primary Care Development Lead who shared professional identity theory, the latest research and real-life examples to consider the intersection between professional identity and integrated care.

Below is a recording of our December network session where we were joined by Dr Ian Corrie (Associate Professor of Leadership & Innovation at University of Cumbria)  to discuss why high-quality leadership in health and care continues to be a challenge. In the session, we used a critical self-reflection approach to help us rethink how we build our own leadership capability as well as supporting others on their leadership journey.

Below is a recording of our last network session where we explored team conflict, talked through strategies for diagnosing root causes, and gave recommendations for building high-performing teams.

If you would like to find out more about this network,
or have an idea for a new network for the North East and North Cumbria health and care system, we would love to hear from you!
