Recovery College Online (RCO) is a unique digital learning platform developed by the TEWV NHS Mental Health and Learning Disability Trust, offering free, accessible mental health education to anyone aged 13 and over. Whether you’re a service user, carer, or health and care professional, RCO provides a wealth of resources to support your mental wellbeing and recovery journey.
Originally launched in 2017 to support people with mental health challenges in the TEWV region, RCO has since expanded its reach. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the platform opened its doors to everyone, regardless of location, to ensure access to vital mental health support. Today, it remains open-access and free to use, making it a standout resource in the field of digital mental health education.

Courses are co-produced with people who have lived experience and mental health professionals, ensuring they are both practical and empathetic.
Anyone aged 13 or older can access RCO’s courses. Some are open-access, while others require a free account (just a username, email, and password). Once enrolled, you can start a course at any time and return to it whenever you like – your progress is saved automatically.
