Engaging with the community: Wigton Hospital open day

The sun was shining as Wigton Hospital opened its doors to the local community, and we in the CLIC Team were delighted to have been invited to capture some of the day’s goings on.
The event, which was held on Sunday 21st August 2022, was attended by around 300 people.
Hannah Reeson, District Nurse Team Lead, who organised the open day said, “Our aim for this event was to collaborate with all services. We brought together Cumbria Police, Cumbria Fire and Rescue services, different parts of the third sector and a range of NHS services to showcase what is out there for the local community.
Lots of people commented that they were now better informed of local services for parents and families, and really enjoyed the day.
