Health and care professionals across North East and North Cumbria are invited to join a free three-part online learning series exploring arthritis and musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
Delivered by Arthritis UK in partnership with the Integrated Care Board and Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria, the series is designed to build knowledge and confidence among staff who have not received clinical training in this area.
The sessions are primarily aimed at WorkWell Coaches, but are also open to people working in GP practices, primary care, social prescribing, employment support and wider health and care services.
Session programme
• 15 October 2026: Introduction to Arthritis and MSK Conditions
• 19 November 2026: Arthritis and MSK Conditions in the Workplace
• 12 January 2027: Physical Activity and Living Well with MSK Conditions

• Practical advice and resources for supporting patients and clients
• Ways to identify helpful workplace adjustments
• How to signpost people to appropriate support services with confidence
Each session runs online from 12.30pm to 1.30pm and is free to attend.
