We’re delighted to introduce you to a brand-new podcast series – ‘Health Creators: Cumbria’.
These podcasts are hosted by Dr Dominic Slowie (Medical Director, NHS North East and North Cumbria ICB), and in them we will be hearing from a range of inspiring speakers about how they are helping create better health for people across Cumbria (and beyond!).
There is lots of fantastic work happening out there, and we wanted to give individuals this platform to share and learn from others – providing some insight, encouragement, and ultimately hope amongst the challenges we are all facing.
We hope that you enjoy listening, and that each episode helps you to reflect and perhaps even think about improvements you could make in your own work, team, or service.
In episode 4, Dr Dominic Slowie speaks to Georgia Wright, who is Deputy Chief Nurse at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC). Georgia shares with us the work that she does day-to-day, how the Trust are improving patient care (for example, with HealthPathways), and what she likes most about living and working in Cumbria.
