Brought to you by Boost in collaboration with North Cumbria Knowledge and Library Service, this Lunch & Learn session on 22 April 2024 saw Hamid Motraghi (Deputy Director of People & Culture, North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board) deliver a presentation on ‘Developing the right approach to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion’.
Our Lunch & Learns are short, informal events that take place at lunchtime – while you take a break and eat, you can listen to our invited speaker give a short talk sharing information about their work, as well as their experience of improvement.
This session raised awareness around equity, diversity, and inclusion, outlining the legal duties of public sector organisations.
We heard about the compelling evidence base for change, and explored how we can work to build more equal, diverse and inclusive environments for the benefit of North East and North Cumbria health and care staff, as well as our patients and service users.
