Brought to you by Boost in collaboration with North Cumbria Knowledge and Library Service, this Lunch & Learn session on 22 May 2024 saw Dr Helen Howlett (Senior Commissioner for Children, Young People and Maternity, North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board) deliver a presentation on ‘Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: Raising awareness’.
Our Lunch & Learns are short, informal events that take place at lunchtime – while you take a break and eat, you can listen to our invited speaker give a short talk sharing information about their work, as well as their experience of improvement.
This session gave an introduction to the associated harms of alcohol in pregnancy and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
