Brought to you by CLIC in collaboration with North Cumbria Knowledge and Library Service, this Lunch & Learn session on 12 July 2023 saw Karen Kirk (CLIC Programme Manager) deliver a presentation on the ”Lessons from LOC in the Lakes – ‘Igniting the Power of People: New Ways of Working for Better Health and Wellbeing’.
LOC in the Lakes returned on 16 May with another successful conference. Almost 200 colleagues from health and care across north and west Cumbria (and beyond!) attended the event at Carlisle Racecourse.
It was the eighth time we and the Academic Health Science Network North East and North Cumbria (ASHN NENC) have organised the conference, which this year focused on ‘Igniting the power of people – new ways of working for better health and wellbeing’. It was fantastic to see so many people from a range of organisations come together to think differently about people and community involvement.
This session covered the key learning points from the day, and how we can keep the momentum going.
