Brought to you by CLIC in collaboration with North Cumbria Knowledge and Library Service, this Lunch & Learn session on 16 March 2022 saw Laura Heaton-Sutton (Personalised Care Project Lead at NHS North Cumbria CCG) deliver a presentation on ‘Personalised Care is Everyone’s Business’.
The aim of the session was to provide a snapshot of what personalised care is, the model of personalised care, why it is needed, who is involved, the barriers faced and the difference a conversation can make. It also looked at simple changes everyone can make in everyday practice to make their approach more personalised. The session involved discussions around health inequalities and how a personalised care approach can make all the difference.
