Brought to you by CLIC in collaboration with North Cumbria Knowledge and Library Service, this Lunch & Learn session on 27 January 2022 saw Dr Prasanna de Silva (Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW)) deliver a presentation on ‘Care home liaison during covid-19: Experience from the coalfields & lakes’. 

The short presentation covered:

• Who they are and what they do (including service history, staffing, outcomes)
• What they want to do (quality improvements including avoiding sarcopenia, polypharmacy)
• What they would like to get (integration with acute care delirium outreach, PD nurses and move to a 7-day service)
