Brought to you by Boost in collaboration with North Cumbria Knowledge and Library Service, this Lunch & Learn session on 17 October 2023 saw Sue Mann (Commissioning Support Officer – Vaccine Lead, NECS) and Gayle Howarth (Specialist Nurse for Immunisation & Clinical Lead for Complex Vaccinations, North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust) deliver a presentation on ‘Vaccinations – What you need to know’.
Our Lunch & Learns are short, informal events that take place at lunchtime – while you take a break and eat, you can listen to our invited speaker give a short talk sharing information about their work, as well as their experience of improvement.
This session provided an update on vaccinations, including who is eligible (covid-19 and influenza). It also covered why you should be vaccinated, as well as some facts and fictions about vaccinations.
