New equity diversity and inclusion modules

It is widely recognised that organisations that prioritise diversity, equality, and inclusion (EDI) e-learning programs demonstrate a commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace culture. This, in turn, enhances collaboration, creativity, and innovation within organisations. EDI e-learning helps to create a working environment where all employees can thrive, leading to higher job satisfaction, reduced turnover, and an increased loyalty to the organisation.

That’s why, as part of our equity diversity and inclusion programme, you will find a series of e-learning modules which we aim to continuously update and adapt, according to the social shifts in society.

Neurodiversity Awareness

This e-learning module is designed for all employees who want to build their awareness of neurodiversity and deepen their understanding of how to effectively support their neurodivergent colleagues.

Learning objectives:

  • Develop a foundational understanding of neurodiversity and the characteristics of some common types of neurodiversity such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more.
  • Identify the strengths and challenges experienced by neurodivergent people and the potential impact of these challenges in the workplace.
  • Understand the importance of creating an inclusive workplace that respects and supports neurodivergent employees, promoting equity and belonging.
  • Implement practical strategies to effectively support neurodivergent colleagues, enhancing their contributions and wellbeing.

Mental Health and Wellbeing for People Managers

This e-learning has been created to guide people managers on how to effectively promote and support the mental health and wellbeing of team members. The aim of this e-learning course is to show you how to effectively build a supportive environment and increase employee engagement, motivation, and productivity.

Learning objectives:

  • Outline the difference between mental health, wellbeing, and mental health problems which include depression and anxiety disorders.
  • Discuss your role as a line manager in supporting employees’ wellbeing through leading by example and following your organisations’ policies relating to staff wellbeing.
  • Help you understand employees’ mental health struggles and identify indicators and signs that suggest they may need support.
  • Explore best practices for wellbeing conversations.
  • Raise your understanding of the links between gender and mental health.
  • Provide you with an overview of sickness absence, key principles for the return-to-work process, and possible reasonable adjustments.
  • Provide you with tips for creating and promoting a healthy work environment.
  • Understand that managing your own mental health and wellbeing is equally important as helping others.
