We are pleased to share the results of a groundbreaking regional research project led by Dr Helen Widdrington, focusing on the wellbeing challenges faced by individuals affected by congenital heart disease.
This collaborative study brought together patients, families, and healthcare staff from across the region, whose valuable insights and experiences have shaped the outcomes of the project. Their contributions have been instrumental in identifying key areas for improvement in support and services.
To ensure these findings reach everyone who participated – and beyond – the team have designed two informative posters: one tailored for staff and another for patients and families. These posters not only summarise the research outcomes, but also invite continued involvement in shaping the future of this initiative.
