As we wrap up an incredible 2025, we want to thank you for being part of our journey. This year has been full of progress and collaboration:
- Thousands of learning modules completed across programmes like Leadership & Improvement, Health Literacy, Making Every Contact Count, and Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training – helping us reach over 9,800 completions and build capability across the region.
- Our Improvement in Health and Care Conference brought together hundreds of colleagues to share ideas, challenge thinking, and celebrate innovation – reinforcing that improvement is a collective endeavour.
- We’ve expanded our Learning Academy, offering new resources, development opportunities, and communities of practice to support personal and professional growth.
- We proudly supported the launch of the People’s Hub – giving patients, carers and families a voice to shape the future of health and care services in the North East and North Cumbria. By joining the Hub, people can share their experiences, influence decisions, and stay informed through easy-to-read monthly updates on projects, opportunities to have their say, and how feedback is making a difference.
- Colleagues have shared inspiring improvement stories through case studies, Lunch & Learn sessions, and Connect & Learn events – creating opportunities to learn from real experiences and spread best practice across the system.
Whilst there is much to celebrate, we also recognise that there is significant change across the system right now, and we’re here to help. Boost offers dedicated support sessions to guide you through this period of transition, ensuring you have the tools and confidence to adapt and thrive.
Looking ahead, the new year will bring new ways of working for Boost. We will be aligning our offer to the neighbourhood health work and focusing on ensuring care is closer to home, technology makes life easier, and healthy choices become the norm – as we work together to shape the future of health and care in our region.
