Across the North East and North Cumbria, teams are driving incredible improvements in health and care – from innovative redesigns to new approaches that make a real difference for patients, service users, and staff. Every success story has the power to inspire others, and we want to make sure these ideas are shared widely.
Why share your story?
By telling your improvement story, you can:
- Showcase the impact of your work, and celebrate with your colleagues
- Help others learn from your experience
- Spark new ideas and collaborations across the system
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement – help us be the best at getting better!
Ways to share your story
There are a number of ways you can get involved:
- Complete a case study template: Capture the key details of your project on our new and improved form – the challenge, actions taken, outcomes, and lessons learned. This helps others understand what worked and how they can apply similar approaches.
- Describe it in person: Meet with us one-to-one to discuss your improvement, and we’ll put it together in a written story.
- Present at a Lunch & Learn: Join one of our informal, interactive sessions to share your improvement journey and answer questions from colleagues across the region.
- Present at a Connect & Learn: These sessions aim to generate ideas, and inspire others to take forward improvements in their own work, team, or service. Your story could help shape future improvements.
