If you have an interest in improving support for LGBTQ+ young people in the North East and North Cumbria, we’d recommend for you to come along to an upcoming conference on Thursday 27 March, 9am – 4.30pm, in Newcastle.
‘Supporting Our LGBTQ+ Young People Living in the North East and North Cumbria’ will bring together professionals from health, social care, education, research, and commissioning to explore the challenges LGBTQ+ young people face in our region.
We’ll discuss – key issues affecting LGBTQ+ youth, health inequalities particularly for gender-diverse young people, share best practice to deepen our understanding of intersectionality, and agree priority actions to improve support and inclusion across health, education, social care and VCSE sectors.
This is a great opportunity to learn, share, and help shape a more inclusive future for LGBTQ+ young people.
If this is an area you’re passionate about, come along and be part of the conversation! Book your place now. Please note there is a small cost to attend the event.
