Applications are now open for the fourth cohort of the North Cumbria School of Generalism, delivered by North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS FT (NCIC). The School of Generalism is hosted by NCIC on behalf of NHS England North East, and aims to provide all NHS staff with common concepts and languages to help improve patient care.   The Trust will again be delivering an innovative program giving the opportunity for 24 multi-professional, multi-disciplinary, clinical and administrative/management staff to learn alongside each other. The Health Foundation have recently launched a new podcast series – Leading Improvement in Health and Care. Each month, these will explore the learning and experiences of people making change across systems. New workshop: Working with communities – Practical tools for getting started

We are delighted to announce a brand-new workshop in our ‘Working with communities’ for better health and care series – ‘Practical tools for getting started’. On Monday 11 March more than 240 health and care staff from across the North East and North Cumbria began their week with a powerful virtual event led by Professor Michael West.
