This article has been created as part of SPOT (Screening, Prevention, Outreach, Treatment for Health Equity) CKD, a collaborative working project between Boehringer Ingelheim, Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria (HI NENC) and the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB).
Primary care teams across the North East and North Cumbria can access free, expert-led chronic kidney disease (CKD) training to support earlier diagnosis and improved patient care, as part of the SPOT CKD collaborative working project.
These practical one-hour sessions have been created and are delivered by experienced Boehringer Medical Education Associates (MEAs) and help teams build confidence in CKD testing, diagnosis and management. Training is for UK healthcare professionals in the NHS.
Sessions are flexible and can be delivered face-to-face, virtually or in a hybrid format.
