The North East and North Cumbria Learning Disability Network has been working with partners across North East North Cumbria on a Learning Disability Women’s Health programme.
As part of this they have launched the Learning Disability Menopause Passport. This is an easy read patient held document and is about:
The passport has been co-developed with a group of women with a learning disability in Teesside and the Tees Health Facilitation team at TEWV NHS FT.
It can be used by health and care professionals, women with a learning disability and family carers. It can be downloaded and completed online and then shared or it can be printed and completed.
